SNP's Start

Founded February, 2016

SNP began in the winter of 2016. Heidi Friedman, SNP Board President, and original Founder has always had a passion for helping others and bringing people together.  When returning to the Bay Area in 2015, she did not find a local multi-disciplinary professional organization working with special needs children and families. So, she decided to create one.  A happy hour invite and coffee shop discussion lead to a fast-growing organization with a Board and non-profit status underway.  SNP is looking forward to seeing how fast our expanding organization can bring resources together to beneft and strengthen our community.
